Conference Goals and Objectives
The conference aims to:
Mobilize and inspire partnerships to achieve the systems and policy changes needed to enhance environmental education in Washington State through the E3 Washington initiative;
- Share innovative approaches to effect positive, sustainable change;

Demonstrate and celebrate the power and potential of new programs and school-community partnerships;
- Actively foster the authentic partnerships of educators and business leaders;

Provide a fun and dynamic forum to network, share information and build skills;

Enhance student learning;

Facilitate participants’ commitment to specific actions they can take to support social and educational change; and

Honor and support the broader goal of effecting positive, sustainable change for the betterment of society and the natural world.
Through active involvement in the conference, participants will:
- Develop a broad and current understanding of environmental education;
- Learn new skills;
- Create more direct and deliberate links between their work and continuously changing social and natural environments;

Achieve their most important objective in coming to the conference;

Commit to concrete and specific actions they will take upon returning home;

Establish a peer group for continued learning and information sharing;
