Congratulations to Linda Versage from Homewaters Project for receiving the 2007-2008 EEAW Award of Excellence in the category of Individual Outstanding Non-Formal Environmental Educator!

 

Guided by their mission to “create an engaged and informed citizenry by connecting people to nature and each other in the context of their home communities.,” Homewaters Project  has accomplished a great deal this year, serving 2013 students, 63 teachers and 36 schools... The Power of Partnerships – Creative Leadership in Environmental Education


Our office has received numerous requests for information about our 2009 conference plans.  We are pleased to announce that, this year, EEAW will be joining with NAAEE (the North American Association for Environmental Education) in supporting their international conference October 7 – 10, 2009.  Check out our Annual Conference page or go to the NAAEE website at http://www.naaee.org/conference.

Environmental Education/Environmental Sustainability Resource Center

Add your organization and programs to the statewide, on-line Resource Center that connects those with EE/ES resources to those who need them. If you provide educational resources about natural and built environments including topics on the environment, sustainability, tribal, outdoor, public health, conservation, agriculture, marine, hunting, early childhood or others, click EERC to register.
